ABOUT MAEVE WEBSTER
I am a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I earned a degree in Political Science and a minor in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. While at VCU, I was in Alpha Gamma Delta Theta Nu Chapter where I was elected by my sisters to hold two leadership positions (VP New Member Experience and VP Member Experience). In my roles, I hosted monthly member and new member meetings, hosted programs focused on member retention and made sure members were content and enthusiastic about our sisterhood. After graduation, I moved home to the DC area where I interned for Congresswoman Elise M. Stefanik and her House Republican Conference Office. I assisted with daily operations, setting up special events, updating spreadsheets and other tasks as requested by the staff. I am now currently interning in the Office of the Speaker Mike Johnson where I greet members, assist with office operations and make sure the staff has everything they need to work efficiently. I am hoping to continue my career on the Hill and am thankful for all of the help I’ve received along the way!
