ABOUT KEVIN MAENG

I\'m an audio specialist with a wide experience of implementing and optimizing game audio (using commercial or in-house tools). My passion for games, all things audio runs deep and I love working as a team with Programmers, Writers, Designers & Producers to bring interactive narrative come to life. My day-to-day responsibilities are: • Domain expertise for Dialogue/Speech design, record & integration • Overseeing/hands-on technical integration of all voice/dialogue assets into the game engine(s)/sound engine(s) • Creating state-of-the-art interactive playback systems via both programmatic & node based visual scripting • Overseeing casting options with talent agencies and partner recording studios • Organizing and updating recording scripts, voice design, workflow documents on confluence • Overseeing VO performance capture in record sessions, tracking selects • Post processing of audio assets via DAWs (Reaper, ReaScripts, Plugins) • Defining deliverables and helping Producers on the delivery milestones • Working with localization teams & 3rd party vendors, always striving for efficiency & quality • Working with Software Engineers on new tools/tech to innovate & push the audio quality and workflows
