Working as a dental hygienist through the temping agency has given me the opportunity to see how other offices are ran. I’ve temped at facilities that are high end, tech savvy to government funded, clinic like in setting. The diversity in clientele has given me ample opportunity to learn how to adapt to many situations. Performing the duty of a Registered Dental Hygienist is merely one task, but being able to come into an office and treat patients as if you’ve been there for years, takes skills and confidence. Being a part of the dental works team has opened my eyes to what changes can be made to streamline what a day for the temp RDH should look like, for the offices benefit clinically and administratively.
