Conduct thorough site inspections and OHS observations across multiple construction and infrastructure projects to ensure full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, WorkSafeBC regulations, and industry best practices (Conducted site visits across water and sewer projects, Landfill, and construction sites, involving confined space activities, working at heights, excavation, and exposure to asbestos and silica).• Hazard identification, risk assessment, and provided recommendations to control identified risks effectively and provided recommendations to eliminate the hazards or control the risks• Collaborate closely with City of Vancouver and contractors (including Hall, Graham, JB and Lafarge), to address specific safety requirements and operational risks on City of Vancouver (COV) internal and external projects.• Develop detailed OHS reports highlighting potential hazards, areas of concern, and actionable corrective measures; resolution of OHS non-compliance issues; and providing practical, cost-effective recommendations that helped contractors align with regulatory standards and project safety goals.• Facilitate OHS meetings and toolbox talks with site crews, emphasizing the importance of proactive safety measures, hazard identification, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.• Demonstrate strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations, applying up-to-date regulatory guidelines to assess and improve OHS conditions across various project types, including high-risk environments such as construction and heavy machinery operations.• Collaborate with senior management and project teams to drive continuous OHS improvements, integrating lessons learned from previous projects to optimize safety outcomes and reduce incident rates.• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure the implementation of recommended corrective actions, maintaining continuous OHS oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
