About Andrew Madyarov
I am a collaborative problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Being an innovative researcher I tackle the most challenging problems in petroleum development via integration of Geomechanics, Petrophysics, Geophysics, and Reservoir Engineering, cost-effective targeted testing, automation of elaborate data analysis, comprehensive numerical modeling, and statistical optimization.I am a dedicated constructive team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. I create a positive work environment taking an energetic action-oriented approach to issues and focusing on maximizing business opportunities.• Solid background in Applied Mathematics and Geomechanics• Substantial petroleum engineering experience in Geomechanics, Petrophysics, Geophysics, and Reservoir Engineering, including Unconventionals and hydraulic fracturing• Comprehensive 3D geomechanics simulation (FEM and BEM)• Geomechanical lab testing and stress testing in the field, result interpretation and up-scaling• Petrophysical log interpretation using Techlog and Python scripting• Integrated data analysis• Statistics, optimization, inverse problems• Scripting and software development• Project management• US C••••••••@gmail.com

Geomechanics of long-term injection into soft sands• Designed and executed a laboratory testing program to characterize the constitutive behavior of unconsolidated sands, derived and calibrated material parameters for the porous elastic and soft rock plasticity models. • Designed and executed a large block injection test program to observe failure patterns for various injection regimes. Constructed and calibrated a Finite Element model (Abaqus).Analyzed the near-surface horizontal fracture propagation due to produced water reinjection in the Permian.• Evaluated the extent and opening of the fracture as a drilling hazard using analytical and finite element models, analyzed the impact of stress barriers, and calibrated the model with surface heave InSAR data.• Assessed the risk of casing parting due to fracture opening for a dual-string well design via a finite element simulation (Abaqus)
