ABOUT MADS KISTRUP KJÆRGAARD

Today, I explore, develop, and scale potential business opportunities within and beyond Søstrene Grene. That is, at least, the broad ambition of New Ventures – a newly established and small team. Exciting, fresh, and unpredictable. Over the past four years at Søstrene Grene, I have built a customer insights function from scratch, taken responsibility for digital development, and held leadership roles across different teams. Valuable experience that now feeds directly into New Ventures. I believe in putting achievements into the spotlight, and during my time at Søstrene Grene I am especially proud to have: Established an insights and innovation department from the ground up. Developed a new store concept with creative experiences (Creating Moments). Put customer insights firmly on the agenda and ensured the customer’s voice was heard across the organization – from daily operations to top management. Built an internal customer panel with members. Driven digital development, including expanding e-commerce into five new markets, implementing a new checkout, a new PSP, and developing a new product detail page – all within one year. Implemented a Customer Data Platform as the foundation for all digital data. Piloted omnichannel solutions such as digital receipts and BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick-up In Store) across multiple markets. None of this would, of course, have been possible without an exceptionally talented team of colleagues – the true Søstre.
