ABOUT MADISON PAIMENT
As a fourth-year Honours Political Science student at Western University, I am deeply committed to pursuing a career in international human rights, with a particular focus surrounding International Law, Transitional Justice, and Post-Conflict Reconstruction. My passion lies in learning about the complexities of global governance, reconciliation, and systemic justice, with the ultimate goal of advocating for meaningful and lasting change.I believe that listening to untold stories, understanding historical and contemporary injustices, and amplifying marginalized voices are imperative steps toward a more equitable world. As such, much of my existing research and current pursuits lie in fostering reconciliation and addressing the long-term impacts of conflict and colonial harm.I truly believe that the only constant in life is change - bringing with it both challenges and opportunities. It is because of the my admiration for the human capacity to create tangible change that I find purpose, drive, and passion. Above all, I am hear to listen, learn, and act.
