Developed ESG evaluation system for all projects that go through the approval processes of the company • Worked with onsite leadership/teams to develop Action Plans for each facility and attached KPIs to work on continuous improvement of utility usage • Identified and created project scopes and plan for associated capital investments • Drove establishment of corporate level objectives and targets, establish, monitor, and measure related metrics and report results to management, customers and investors or in ESG/sustainability reporting documents, communication documents and websites, etc. • Supported execution of HB’s strategic plan to reduce our environmental footprint, focusing on environmental specifics (water, energy, waste) and consumption reduction. • Tracked monthly energy consumption, variance to reduction goals and budgeted utilities cost saving. Made business cases for implementing and managing utility cost (energy/water/waste, etc.). • Analyzed utilities data and identified opportunities for improvements. This included assistance with any third-party energy audits / site assessments and validation programs. • Oversaw energy, water and other sustainability project implementation and provide technical input and guidance to site sustainability leaders and project teams for successful and timely execution of these projects / initiatives • Coordinated with site sustainability leaders, powerhouse and engineering teams and corporate resources to develop and share energy & sustainability best practices and maintain site-specific energy & sustainability efficiency training.
