As Lead Data Privacy and Compliance Manager, I lead the data governance programs for the various organizations under the National Restaurant Association umbrella across the restaurant and hospitality industry. I collaborate with and influence a cross-functional team (working with Technology, Business, and Legal) to steadfastly operationalize the enterprise’s compliance to state, federal and international consumer rights/data privacy laws. I focus on documenting the data privacy lifecycle across data collection/storage/handling/retention, and I champion the implementation of data privacy best practices throughout the organization.
