Lead for Open Enrollment and benefit administration; including employee questions and/or concerns. • Administers the FMLA process and follow ups. Partners with Payroll to accurately record time.• Handles employee relations and inquiries with a sense of urgency, an open-door policy and confidentiality. • Stays on top of employment law changes in all the state we have offices or employees in. Work with VP, HR to address changes needed.• Employee liaison for remote offices to assess office needs, build culture, and organize events.• Serves as back up for recruitment and employment of qualified employees when necessary.• Along with other HR team members, develop, execute and continually update/improve the new hire experience; focused on but not limited to orientation and employee benefits. • Works with the HR team in the development of internal lines of communication including; email blasts, SharePoint intranet, Paylocity and company meeting announcements.• Works with HR team to successfully coordinate and execute company events and major projects such as: Holiday Party, WEA Day, Day of Caring, mergers & acquisitions and all community involvement.• Research and benchmarking of Human Resources disciplines to ensure the organization is aware of the latest technology, best practices, opportunities and programs available to add value to the organization as they relate to all HR functions. • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of all recognition and rewards programs which align with the overall corporate strategies.Performs all other duties as assigned.
