   As a process engineer under the Process and Process Safety Team, oversight is provided via topsides support for offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico. This early career role includes 3 different roles to explore different applications of process engineering in GoM. The first rotation included supporting Atlantis on the Facility Support Squad, which had heavy emphasis on equipment modifications and improvements to operational capabilities. Creating and facilitating risk assessments, meeting regulatory requirements, and preparing projects for execution all were encompassed in this role. A higher priority assignment in this role was leading a project offshore to clean up our cooling medium system from a previous heat exchanger tube rupture and subsequent contamination. This included working with a vendor for a filtration package, facility laydown, equipment sizing, HAZOP preparation and resolution, regulatory submittals, and execution planning. During the FSS rotation, an additional, short-term role in the Integrity and Maintenance Team was held. Although not process focused, I supported the planning and execution of offshore scopes. This included maintenance planning, coordinating POB, material acquisition, and project documentation with both onshore and offshore personnel. My current position is supporting topsides optimization and process surveillance in the Production Management Squad.
