Hello LinkedIn and Welcome to my Profile! 🧠 I recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science from the University of Arizona. With an emphasis in cognition, my academic journey has prepared me with a strong scientific background through courses in biology, chemistry, and physics. Additionally, my studies include a psychology/philosophy component, as well as a solid grounding in mathematics including calculus, statistics, and basic programming. Beyond the classroom, I am striving to make a difference in the realm of public health. As the Founder and President of Team Awareness Combating Overdose (TACO) UofA, a recognized student organization at the University of Arizona and a chapter of the non-profit, TACO Inc, I am passionate and committed to combating drug overdoses among young adults and educating my peers. Establishing this club has equipped me with managerial skills to successfully create a presence on my campus, as I presented to hundreds of students, collaborated with the UA Campus Health to organize events, and offered volunteer opportunities to my members. My academic pursuits and endeavors extend further as I played on the University of Arizona Women’s Club Lacrosse Team and assisted students as a preceptor for Cellular Neurophysiology. My involvement in both scientific and athletic commitments reflects my holistic approach to personal and professional growth. My professional journey also extends to the service industry, where I\'ve gained strategic customer service skills as a part-time waitress and bartender. This experience has given me the skills for multitasking, effective communication, and commitment to providing thoughtful customer service.
