ABOUT MADISON SOUZA
With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC), I bring a strong foundation in healthcare and pediatric care, complemented by extensive clinical experience and leadership roles. I graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in August 2024 with a focus on Pediatric Primary Care and earned the Helen Tanley Alford Merit Scholarship during my schooling. Throughout my education, I have been actively involved in healthcare initiatives, including vaccine distribution in underserved communities and supporting pediatric care through internships at Porter Pediatrics and Boston Children’s Hospital. My work in research, particularly in concussion protocols for Tennessee high schools, has also enhanced my evidence-based practice skills. As a former NCAA Division I lacrosse player and team captain, I developed exceptional teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, which I continue to apply in both clinical settings and volunteer roles. I am passionate about working with children, promoting health equity, and using innovative approaches to patient care.
