ABOUT MADISON MADDIE SISLER

I am a dedicated and driven healthcare professional in training with a strong background in community health, clinical experience, and advocacy. Currently completing my Master’s in Community Health and Prevention Sciences at the University of Cincinnati, I am passionate about advancing health equity, improving access to care, and addressing the social and structural determinants of health that influence well-being.As a first-generation college graduate and former Division I student-athlete, I bring resilience, discipline, and leadership to every opportunity. My experiences range from conducting research and working in a clinical pain/spine center, to serving as Mental Health Advocacy Chair on my university’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where I focused on supporting peers and promoting well-being initiatives. I also have extensive volunteer experience, including with Big Brothers Big Sisters, which has deepened my commitment to mentorship and service.With a long-term goal of pursuing a career in medicine, I am especially interested in bridging the gap between clinical care and community health. I aspire to integrate preventative approaches, patient-centered care, and policy-level change to create sustainable improvements in population health.I thrive in collaborative environments and am motivated by opportunities that allow me to combine my skills in research, advocacy, and healthcare to make a meaningful impact.
