About Madison Saks

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science at Lehigh University, I am a Soaring Together Scholar, a prestigious merit scholarship program celebrating 50 years of women at Lehigh. As a member of its inaugural cohort, I have embraced the program’s commitment to equity and experiential learning opportunities, which have greatly enriched my academic journey. I am also an Eckardt Scholar, participating in Lehigh’s honors program designed for intellectually curious students. This program offers a flexible curriculum, enabling me to explore diverse disciplines and pursue additional minors.Beyond academics, I recently served as an Orientation Leader at Lehigh, where I developed skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork while guiding new students through their transition to college life. I am also the Director of Community Inclusion for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, where I design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for over 100 members. Working alongside National Directors, I’ve contributed to strategies that promote a culture of inclusivity and belonging, reflecting my core values of equality and community-building.These roles have strengthened my ability to foster inclusive environments, lead with purpose, and support others in their personal and academic growth. I am passionate about creating spaces where individuals feel valued and empowered to succeed.
