Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile! I am an engineer at TT working in the Structural Engineering Department. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and am living in Los Angeles, California looking for opportunities to gain experience in the building engineering field!With the exposure that I’ve had in the structural engineering industry, it is widely evident that there is a severe lack of racial and gender diversity that exists in the discipline. Due to these disparities, I feel as though my role not only as a future structural engineer, but as an Asian, first-generation woman in structural engineering, is to do both what my job expects of me, and to strive to do it to the absolute best of my abilities. Since it is of my responsibly to set the standard for a minority, it is also my duty to represent Asian women in the best, most elegant way possible. I am constantly seeking to refine and expand my skill set, as well as learn as much as I can from the opportunities I have the privilege of encountering.
