About Madison Miller

With over seven years of experience in Memphis\' non-profit arts sector, I am passionate about driving positive change through arts organizations. As the Director of Development & Communications at the Metal Museum, I oversee all aspects of the Museum\'s development efforts, including managing a $35 million capital campaign, raising $1 million annually, and leading constituent management efforts—encompassing individual giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and the membership program. I also oversee the Museum\'s communications efforts, including PR, marketing, social media, events, and the Museum’s website.In my role, I manage a dedicated team of 6 full-time and 3 part-time staff, guiding not only fundraising and communications but also Guest Services, Rentals, and Special Events, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors and clients. My focus is on building meaningful relationships with donors and the community, ensuring the financial sustainability of the Museum, and delivering exceptional experiences for our audiences.Outside of the Museum, I co-founded The Artist Commons to support local artists through professional development and exhibitions. I have also contributed to Memphis\'s arts scene as Assistant Director at Memphis Current, where I curated exhibitions, managed outreach, and organized events that connected local artists with the broader community.I am committed to fostering growth, collaboration, and connection within the Memphis arts community and am always looking for new opportunities to inspire and create.
