About Madison Lin

Madison Lin is an award-winning filmmaker from Oakland now based in Los Angles. She has been pursuing film since she was eight and filmed on the Universal Backlot at eleven. At thirteen, she was admitted to California State Summer School of the Arts where she won the award for California​ ​Art​ ​Scholar. In 2021, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BFA in Film and Television Production. She predominantly works as a director for short films and feature length films. She has a background as the founder of Enigma Films and has produced and directed over twenty shorts. As a director, her films have a whimsical tone that has converged fantasy and magical realism. Her steampunk film, Dear Victoria, was screened at Time Square in New York, where John Legend commended the film\'s original score at the award ceremony. The One Reeler Film Festival saw the film and reached out to her to award the short the One Reeler Award of Merit later that year. She directed her USC junior thesis film, The Collector, on the CBS backlot. She was selected to direct a senior thesis project at USC where she directed scenes with Emmy Award winning actor, Brad Garrett. As a professional, she is highly driven and has worked at companies like Film Independent, Blumhouse Productions, United Talent Agency, Apple TV+, and Netflix. She\'s incredibly organized and brings enthusiasm as well as creative solutions to every project she joins. From script coverage to associate producing projects, she keeps teams organized and brings solutions through collaboration.
