Around age 9, I began watching Jim Cramer\'s show, Mad Money. I became infatuated with the concept of investing which was very foreign to me at the time. I would try to understand and discuss what are stocks and the stock market with my dad. In high school, I immediately enrolled in Personal Finance and Economics and knew I would study business in college. My undergraduate coursework gave me a great foundation to business and finance and during my MBA coursework, I learned how to turn these financial concepts into practice.(e.g. by creating DCF models to assess a company\'s worth, analyzing a chapter 11 bankruptcy, constructing a mean-variance efficient portfolio, trading securities with derivatives through a simulation, and equity research). I have had previous internship experience in the mortgage and insurance industries where I gained knowledge on credit and risk as well as developing my strong Excel and communication skills. I also have two years of experience as a Restructuring Consultant at CohnReznick where I gained extensive experience in financial modeling, client management, and operational assessments. I love analyzing data, conveying information to others, managing workstreams and challenging myself!
