ABOUT MADISON CLARKE
I’m a third-year Psychology student at the University of Kentucky, deeply committed to promoting both mental and physical well-being. My goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and become a specialized therapist, supporting individuals as they navigate challenges such as substance use disorders, divorce, anxiety, and depression.My academic and research interests are centered around the impact of parental substance use on child development. I’m particularly interested in how these early experiences influence long-term mental health and resilience, as well as how therapeutic interventions can promote healing.On campus, I serve as President of the Psychology Club, where I’ve helped create a supportive space for students to explore future opportunities. I recently launched a resource channel focused on helping students navigate internships, research, graduate school applications, and other career-building steps — making professional development more accessible and collaborative.Service is at the heart of who I am. At UK, I’m an active member of College Mentors for Kids, where I help build confidence and support mental health in middle school students. I’m also proud to be part of Chi Omega, where our partnership with Make-A-Wish has fueled my passion for giving back and serving with empathy.I’m always eager to grow, learn, and connect with others who share my passion for mental health, service, and community impact.
