About Madison Chambliss

I am currently a systems engineer at Applied Technology Solutions, Inc in Huntsville, Alabama. There, I work in the Engineering Solutions department on Project Phoenix. When completed, Phoenix will deliver the world\'s most capable hypersonic wind tunnel test facility to the U.S. Air Force. As a systems engineer on a large integrated facility, I have the opportunity to work with a talented and diverse group of engineers every day. I apply the systems engineering process to guide through milestones and other key decision points with customers and collaborators. This consists of many responsibilities to progress designs at a suitable pace and quality. I work with contracting documents to establish top-level requirements and derive lower-level requirements to define customer expectations in a verifiable way. I track and run to ground any open action items with technical leads and bring them for closure to the customer. Additionally, I maintain interface information to ensure a compatible solution exists for all subsystems involved. I create, implement, and maintain processes at an administrative and technical level to guarantee a high-quality product at the end of the life cycle.
