ABOUT MADISON STRAND

I\'m a highly motivated individual always seeking the next opportunity to better my local community and state. I\'ve always believed that politics matter because people matter. My sole reason for getting involved and staying involved with state and local government is because the issues that we are dealing with matter and they directly affect the people around me. I\'ve held various roles in state and local government within South Dakota that have allowed me opportunities to set and achieve my goals, inspire the next generation of political leaders by expressing the importance of getting involved in citizen advocacy, as well as working on a multitude of campaigns ranging from School Board and Mayoral to Governor and even a Presidential campaign. As a graduate from Augustana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, International Affairs, and Communication studies, I\'m now using the education that I received in a similar capacity as a Government Relations Specialist with Redstone Law Firm.
