About Madison Ackerman

I am an award-winning Graphic Designer with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Central Florida. I have 4 years of experience in the Entertainment and the Events, & Promotions industries. Currently, I am a Graphic Designer for Disney Publishing Worldwide. I was a Graphic Design Intern for The Walt Disney Company on the Consumer Insight, Measure and Analytics (CIMA) Team for 5 months. Last summer, I completed a Graphic Design Internship at NBCUniversal on the SYFY & Oxygen team. During my undergrad, I worked at OSI Design Group at the University of Central Florida where I created event graphics and other marketing collateral for differing agencies at UCF. I also freelance for a feature-length film called Egghead & Twinkie, where I created promotional material including quotes and illustrations from the film and assets used in the movie. For extracurriculars, I completed 2 years as an AIGA mentee, where industry professionals on a personal project closely mentor us. I was the president of the Graphic Design Student Association (GDSA) at UCF where I helped lead a group of officers to cultivate a design community at the collegiate level through conferences, events, tours, and resources. Ultimately, I am a person who is dedicated to learning and pursuing my passion for design, because I love it!
