ABOUT MADISEN SUELL

As an Assistant Buyer at ShopBop/Amazon, I contribute to the planning, selection, and merchandising of products for the online retail giant. I use my skills in retail math and management to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and optimize inventory levels. In my day to day collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure product quality, availability, and profitability for the largest category at the company.I graduated from Howard University with a B.B.A. in Honors Marketing, where I honored my passion for the apparel and fashion industry. I completed multiple certifications in business essentials, emerging leadership, and digital marketing, and participated in the Gucci Program for Scholars. I also gained valuable retail experience as a Sales Specialist at KREWE and a Merchandising Intern at Shopbop, where I leveraged data-driven insights that allowed me to I collaborate with my buyer and planner in order to determine our seasonal purchasing strategy. In my work, I aim to foster consumer connection with the craft, utilize data to gauge consumer reactions to new releases, contribute to enhancing customer perception of the brand and experience, and generate excitement around the brand. My personal goal is to continue to grow and learn in the dynamic and fast-paced luxury management environments, and to deliver value and satisfaction to the customers and the company.
