ABOUT MADHVENDRA SINGH
Madhvendra is a celebrated, cited, and well recognised Infrastructure & Supply Chain leader with a strong track record in port development, digital transformation, and large scale infrastructure projects thereby, piloting strategy for visionary changemakers. His team at BCG has authored India’s first roadmap for Digital Twin in Ports and implemented MVPs in JNPA & NMPA. He is one of the few preferred Subject Matter Experts for and Concession agreements in Port Infra, and Port Logistics in India. Trusted expert in generating leads and closing strategic partnerships. He is also a preferred Arbitration and Mediation expert in Investment Treaties, Shipping, Dealerships, and construction disputes. He pioneered the decarbonisation initiative for green ports and green shipping in India in collaboration with TERI and the European Union, under the able leadership of MoPSW, the Government of India, and the Government of Gujarat. He also led the development of India’s most visionary Port City project as well as development of greenfield and brownfield ports in Gujarat. Currently he is leading transformation initiatives in Port operations & infra, Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICD), Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLP), Regional Waterway Grids, Industrial Complexes, and Shipbuilding Clusters as well as decarbonisation of ports and shipping sector. With extensive experience across Public and Private sectors, he was commissioned and served in the Indian Navy for more than 20 years, where he also designed and implemented advanced tactical wargame ARNAV and SONAR RADAR and multiple Electronics and Communication simulators, besides leadership roles. He served in the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and served as the Founder CEO of Gujarat Maritime Cluster (GMC), as well as an advisor to IORA secretariat, and a Global Consultant, playing a key role in shaping India’s maritime policies, international cooperation, and industry growth. His expertise spans strategy development, business transformation, execution of large scale infrastructure projects, and dispute resolution, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, collaboration, and long-term growth.Passionate about driving innovation in ports, logistics, and trade facilitation, he collaborates with Governments, industry leaders, and global organizations to enhance connectivity, optimize operations, and build future ready infrastructure.
