ABOUT MADHURA SHANKARPURE

I am a Technology Analyst at Infosys with a passion for solving real-world problems using Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Bio-inspired optimization algorithms.Currently, I am working on a Machine Learning project involving AWS SageMaker, where I analyze data, experiment with models, and optimize performance to deliver impactful results. Previously, I was part of a Generative AI project focused on Natural Language Query (NLQ), where we developed solutions to convert natural user input into structured data insights using state-of-the-art transformer models.I am an avid reader and a research enthusiast. Since my graduation days, I have explored diverse domains such as reinforcement learning in agriculture, Brain-Computer Interfaces, video stabilization, computer-aided diagnosis systems, and mobile sensor-based applications. My work has been published in Springer Nature, and SCOPUS-indexed journals like the Journal of Critical Reviews.Prior to Infosys, I worked at TCS as a Software Developer, where I contributed to a cloud-based performance management platform and was part of the Automation Testing Tool and Generative AI teams. I also gained valuable R&D experience at Knorr-Bremse, where I worked on the SafeDrive Android app to enhance driver behavior using mobile sensor data.Academically, I hold a B.E. in Information Technology and an M.E. in Computer Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, focusing on reinforcement learning for autonomous agricultural robots.Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen (with mixed reviews from my family!) and love diving into research papers and quirky facts on weekends.I am always on the lookout for opportunities in heuristic, innovation-driven environments where I can contribute meaningfully while growing alongside the team and the business.
