About Madhumitha Rajesh
I like building things that make people’s lives easier and a little less chaotic; whether that’s a circular fashion marketplace, a smoother workflow for a specific team, or a better way to navigate a dashboard.I’m a UX and product‑focused grad student at the University of Washington (M.S. Information Management) with experience across aerospace, fintech, law, and health tech. I’ve done the unglamorous but important work: digging through user research, running UX audits, untangling broken workflows, and turning all of that into product decisions and interfaces that actually ship.Recently, I led product/UX on Halo, a circular fashion marketplace and scoring system that tries to make “sustainable” as easy as “add to cart” (and took 1st place at the AIMS Product Competition 2026). That’s the kind of challenge I enjoy: big intention-action gaps, lots of constraints, and users who don’t have time for 6-7 clicks.Things I’m good at:• framing problems so teams know what we’re actually solving• translating research into design decisions and product strategy• designing flows, systems, and presentations that make complex ideas click• keeping moving parts organized across design, engineering, and stakeholdersI’m currently open to internships and early‑career roles in UX, product, and consulting that sit at the intersection of design, tech, and strategy.
