ABOUT MADHUMATI M.

I am currently a Research Associate at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, India. My day-to-day work involves assisting faculty with literature reviews, course development, tool development, and data analysis. I\'m looking to transition into educational assessment and measurement as a full-time career. To that end, I\'ve joined the Educational Research Methodology (ERM) Certificate program at University of Illinois, Chicago. I\'m doing courses on statistical frameworks such as Classical Test Theory, Item Response Theory, and Rasch Measurement. I hope to gain experience in using statistical frameworks (CTT, IRT, and Rasch Measurement) for test development processes before I start applying for PhD programmes in educational measurement and evaluation. I\'d be more than glad to work in the capacity of an intern/assistant to someone who uses CTT, IRT, or Rasch Measurement for day-to-day work. I would like to point out that I have prior experience as an item writer and editor, which would likely come handy for test development processes.
