About Madelyn Maddy Swaine

My name is Madelyn and I\'m a third-year Accounting student at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a strong interest in Tax and Audit and plans of earning my CPA. In my current role as an Accounting Intern at Colliers, I support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including record transactions, invoice processing, and resolving discrepancies. Previously, as a Finance Intern at Tebbens Steel, I conducted a sales tax audit using QuickBooks that identified over in recoverable funds, strengthening my analytical skills and attention to detail.On campus, I currently serve as Vice President of Membership for Accounting Association where I manage member engagement and serve as a primary point of contact. These leadership experiences have strengthened my communication, organization, and ability to work collaboratively. I am actively seeking opportunities to further develop my technical skills tax and audit while contributing to a collaborative environment.
