About Madelyn Madi Tester

I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Medical Sciences, earning highest distinction (3.977 GPA). Since graduating, I\'ve built a diverse foundation of experience across various clinical settings, giving me a unique perspective on patient care and healthcare overall.I\'ve worked as a medical assistant (MA), patient care technician (PCT), rehabilitation technician, and mentored clients virtually, while also completing additional coursework in biochemistry and organic chemistry. These experiences have strengthened my interpersonal skills, clinical judgement, and ability to adapt, while deepening my commitment to learning and serving others.At the heart of my work is a people-first approach. I value supporting and building meaningful relationships with patients, my colleagues, and my employers. I believe healthcare professionals have the opportunity to impact lives on a deep level, and I strive to lead with compassion, humility, and a servant mindset. I\'m excited to use my clinical experience and love for patient-centered care to grow into a Physician Assistant who makes a real difference in patients\' lives.

   As a Medical Assistant at a growing, fast-paced dermatology practice, I collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive skin care services. I assist with in-office procedures and surgeries, document and chart patient visits in EMR systems, review medical histories, and educate patients on diagnoses and treatment plans. Collaborating with providers has strengthened my clinical judgement, technical skills, and ability to communicate complex information with clarity and confidence. this hands-on experience continues to build the strong clinical foundation I am developing as I prepare to pursue Physician Assistant school.
