Execute the nutrition care process in general clinical practice to a variety of patient populations on units including psychiatric, burn, pediatric burn, med surge. Cross cover additional hospital floors as needed on a daily basis and cover all floors and nutritional support during weekend coverage (1x/monthly)• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling for a variety of disease states including diabetes, hypertension/cardiovascular, cirrhosis, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, etc.• Function as lead dietitian on the burn unit. Provide specialized nutrition care to ensure optimal wound healing for unique patient population, including utilizing nutrition support on an as needed basis.• Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team burn rounds.• Collaborate with different clinical departments as needed including nursing, SLP, pharmacy, etc.• Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and projects.
