In my role as Youth Engagement Manager, I oversee the full Youth Department, including staff leadership, program development, budgeting, and strategic planning. I manage day-to-day operations, supervise team members, and ensure that all programs run smoothly and align with our departmental goals.I design and implement a wide range of programs for 4th–12th graders, including weekly youth events, holiday experiences, and leadership opportunities. I teach Hebrew School, focusing on Judaica, Zionism, and Jewish identity development, and I collaborate closely with clergy to build meaningful teen learning experiences. I launched a new teen learning initiative and helped grow our youth group from 3 teens to 18 highly engaged participants.I manage and expand our scholarship fund, lead grant writing projects, and oversee large-scale department events. One highlight was planning, staffing, budgeting, and executing an all-teen Hanukkah celebration that brought together more than 120 teens from across Los Angeles.I also led the creation and coordination of our Teen High Holiday Service, working with clergy, staff, and teen leaders to craft a meaningful, age-appropriate experience for our community’s youth.
