   A Jill of all trades, I\'m known to go above and beyond in all areas of working in a Title 1 school. In my first year at Rosa Parks Elementary School, I jumped between First Grade classrooms to help with behavior and classroom management while maintaining small academic groups outside the classroom, providing supplemental help for students who fell below grade level.Administration recognized my strengths and in my second year at Rosa Parks I taught a developmental discovery specials class for Kindergarten and First Grade. I identified social skills that were not being taught at home and took it upon myself to encourage self regulation, resilience and teamwork among my students. In addition to my Discovery class, I maintained small academic groups where I pushed on level First Graders to above level reading and writing abilities. I configured daily morning announcements which uplifted the school with dancing tunes and fun, relative facts with a team of Fourth and Fifth Graders. Job title roles aside, I\'ve deemed my responsibility to be an advocate for students who just need to be heard.
