I serve as an advocate for seniors wanting to downsize for ease of living in retirement, with a focus on caring and patience. This is a no-rush approach. I never recommend making a decision when in crisis-mode. I serve as an A-to-Z resource in senior living, including assisting and coaching my clients in the following:• With the decision of aging in place. “Should I sell or not?”, “What improvements should I make to my house for my safety?\" and \"What are the options if those improvements will affect the value of my home?”• Through the process of downsizing or “right-sizing” in retirement • Prioritizing belongings, choosing the best auction houses and best appraisers before transitioning to independent living• Assisting my clients with the decision process of where to live, 55-plus/independent living or assisted living• What are the questions to ask when visiting senior living facilities? In addition, I have spent many years as a relocation specialist for military, State Dept. and foreign service.
