About Madeline White
Madeline White is a current senior at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School who is incredibly passionate about environmental policy, leading her to become involved in both civics-focused and environment-focused initiatives both inside and outside of school. She is heavily involved in her school community, and many of her proudest achievements are through Speech and Debate. Most notably, Madeline was awarded the title of National Champion in Impromptu Speaking at the 2024 National Speech and Debate Tournament and the title of Pennsylvania State Champion in Extemporaneous Speaking at the 2025 Pennsylvania High School Speech League State Championship Tournament. Outside of school, Madeline is a member of the Leadership Team for DemocraShe, a national nonprofit with the goal of empowering young women to get involved in democracy. She is always looking to connect with professionals in the political and environmental fields to hear about their journeys and to seek advice and opportunities for her own path as well.
