About Madeline Lara

I am a driven and passionate undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, studying Educational Policy Studies, Legal Studies, and Psychology, with a certificate in Consulting. Passionate about the intersections of human behavior, systemic inequality, and policy, I focus on exploring how outdated educational structures contribute to inequity, and how evidence-based, student-centered reform can drive meaningful change.Through my cross-disciplinary coursework and real-world experiences, I am actively exploring career paths in educational consulting, policy implementation, higher education reform, and behavioral support. I aim to align my professional pursuits with roles that allow me to analyze and address complex social issues from multiple angles, particularly through a human development and policy lens.Outside of academics, I’ve gained valuable experience in childcare, customer service, and community engagement—strengthening my adaptability, leadership, and communication skills.
