About Madeline Landrau
Madeline oversees the MassMutual’s Foundation’s Home Giving portfolio and associated relationship management, working with nonprofit organizations primarily in MassMutual’s home office community of Springfield, Massachusetts. She’s the lead for LifeBridgeSM, MassMutual’s free life insurance program that offers free life insurance coverage to eligible parents for the benefit of their children’s education. Under her leadership, the LifeBridgeSM program has given away more than $708 million in free life insurance across the U.S. Additionally, Madeline manages live events in select national markets for FutureSmartSM, MassMutual’s proprietary financial education program that educates middle and high school students about making smart financial decisions and career choices. Active in community affairs, Madeline has a devout interest in mentoring young Latinas, providing informal mentoring and coaching, guiding them to make sound decisions, develop socially and enhance their educational skills. Madeline is proud to be the first Latina trustee of Westfield State University, appointed by then Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Investment Subcommittee of the Finance & Capital Assets Committee. She is a board member of the Baystate Health Foundation, Springfield Regional Chamber and was recently named Vice President of the Ad Hoc Inclusion Task Force, for the Springfield Museum. Lastly, Madeline is a member of ALPFA, the largest Latino organization with more than professional and student members across the country.Recognized for her strong commitment to community involvement, Madeline was selected as an Outstanding Women Award recipient 2013 “Trendsetter and Trailblazer” by the Massachusetts Latino Chamber and was recognized by Massachusetts Congressman Richard Neal. In 2019, Madeline was recognized as a 100 Women of Color Honoree for her efforts to positively impact lives throughout her community. Lastly, Madeline received a 2019 Public Leadership Citation from Shawn T. Wooden, Connecticut State Treasurer.
