ABOUT MADELINE FISCHER
I recently completed my Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs and Economics with a concentration in Africa at the George Washington University\'s Elliott School of International Affairs.My current research interests in International Affairs include de facto-state formation in Africa, foreign influence in Senegal and ethnic cleavage analysis in Ethiopia. I completed a semester abroad at the University of Cape Town in Spring 2023 and participated in a research program in Senegal in January 2024.I intend to serve as a Secondary English Education Instructor for the Peace Corps mission in Zambia.
