Project Kuiper - Collaborate with designers and subsystem owners on electrical components planned for flight to assess component radiation susceptibility, track individual component radiation test status, and compile error rates within subsystems to inform reliability modeling- Develop test plans with designers to ensure testing in worst-case scenario is achieved and balances widespread use across multiple subsystems- Analyze data and develop test reports describing failure/error modes observed in testing and calculating the mean error rate through OMERE AP9 for each failure/error mode to inform designers on part competency in decision of its use various subsystems and discuss any mitigation strategies if possible- Completed 11 radiation test campaigns in 11 months comprised of primarily SEE testing: heavy-ion, 50 MeV proton(combined with HDR TID testing), and 200 MeV proton testing- Various parts tested include power components (Power MOSFETs, DC/DC Converters, LDO regulators, controllers), RF components (RF ADC/DAC, OCXO/TCXO), and general electrical components used for satellite systems including current sense monitors, diodes, op-amps, motor drivers, MOSFET drivers, and voltage references- Protoboard level radiation testing conducted on 3 different protoboards covering over 40 different electronic components
