About Madeline Howson
Psychology graduate from Wake Forest University with minors in neuroscience and entrepreneurship, with a strong foundation in clinical science, research, and digital mental health. I will be starting a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology this fall at The Chicago School, continuing my commitment to advancing accessible, evidence-based mental health care.Currently, I work as an Organic Growth Content Specialist on the SEO team at BetterHelp, where I develop and optimize data-driven content strategies to expand the reach and accessibility of high-quality mental health resources across organic platforms. I collaborate across teams, including clinical ops, psychiatry and insurance, to ensure content is both clinically accurate and aligned with user needs.I also contribute to clinical research at The New School, focusing on digital interventions and community-based care models designed to reach underserved populations.My experience combines scientific research and real-world application, with a focus on emotion regulation, cognitive mechanisms of distress, and scalable, culturally responsive mental health strategies.
