In this role, I provide group therapy in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic setting. I facilitate and co-facilitate psychoeducation, skills-based, and process therapy groups utilizing evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. Working within the Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs, I focus on supporting individuals managing both mental health and substance use challenges. My work emphasizes building strong therapeutic group relationships that foster resilience and positive change. Collaboration is central to my role. I actively share clinical insights with the multidisciplinary treatment team during daily rounds and as needed to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Additionally, I contribute to program development by creating and adapting group therapy content, tailoring interventions to meet evolving group needs, and supporting patients through crisis management when necessary.
