My role involves supporting the sales team through meaningful client interactions, preparing sales materials, and contributing to day-to-day operations that drive business results.In this position, I’m gaining firsthand experience in the insurance brokerage industry while developing essential skills in customer relationship management, communication, and strategic sales support. I assist with prospect outreach, client presentations, proposal development, and various administrative tasks. I also participate in training sessions focused on Gallagher’s solutions, client approach, and ethical business practices.

ABOUT MADELEINE ROUTHIEAUX
Senior at the University of Mississippi | Public Policy Major | Aspiring Risk Management Professional I am currently a senior at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), majoring in Public Policy and minoring in General Business. I was honored to be accepted into the Trent Lott Leadership Institute in the Spring of 2023. I expect to graduate in the Spring of 2026. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am working toward an Associates in Risk Management certification through The Institutes Group to deepen my understanding of risk management strategies and practices. I have practical experience from my time as a Sales and Operations Manager at Sitter Hub and have experience interning at The Killens Agency at Goosehead Insurance in Oxford, Mississippi during first semester Junior year of college. These roles have helped me develop strong skills in sales, operations, and insurance management, preparing me for a career in risk management.
