Child’s i Foundation has an ambitious plan to strengthen families and communities in Africa so that all children grow up in safe and loving families and not in institutions. Based in Uganda they are building a blueprint for sustainable alternatives to orphanages: social services run by and for communities to strengthen families and support them to raise their children. And for those who need them, they find new foster and adoptive families.
