In my role at Beyond 30 Events, I manage guest entry and ticket scanning for large-scale daytime events, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every attendee. As the first point of contact, I develop strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills while representing the brand professionally. The role also offers clear exposure to the marketing side of events - seeing how audience segments respond to creative, daytime positioning; how first impressions at the door reinforce brand identity; and how check-in data, queue flow, and attendee feedback can inform promotion, messaging, and partnership decisions. It gives me valuable insight into event logistics, crowd management, and the use of technology in live operations, and how organisations and teamwork translates into measurable customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth reach.
