ABOUT MADDISON TENNEY
I am Queer Latter-Day Saint, Artist, and Activist. My goal is to foster communities of inclusivity and belonging and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration wherever I go. I grew up in Southern Oregon, and I graduated with my Bachelor\'s degree in English Literature with minors in Art and Global Women\'s Studies from BYU. I founded the RaYnbow Collective, a non-profit in Provo, Utah, focused on supporting the LGBTQ+ community at BYU. I recently graduated from Harvard Divinity School with my Master of Theology degree, and am now pursuing a PhD/MFA program at Claremont Graduate University, focusing on contemporary religious engagement and the queer community. I also work as a ceramicist, artist, and illustrator, and have had shows across Utah and Arizona.
