ABOUT MADDIE ROONEY
I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in the Spring of 2020 with a degree in business marketing. Throughout my college career, I took many courses that developed skills to prepare me to excel in this area of the work force consisting of marketing, management, sports marketing, consumer behavior, finance, etc. I worked alongside local companies in numerous projects where I was able to experience the business industry hands on. During my time at UMD I also played on the Division I hockey team, which allowed me to acquire great leadership, time management, and communication skills. I\'ve competed and succeeded on the Olympic and World stage. In the summer I turn my own experiences into helping coach youth hockey players. I currently am a Professional Women’s Hockey player for the Minnesota Frost. We have won the Walter Cup in back to back seasons now. I have a driven personality stemmed from my background in the sports world and success of my educational experiences. I am interested in Marketing positions given my degree and the life-long interest i\'ve had in the business industry.
