ABOUT MADDIE STENGER

Maddie is a Senior Director at FTI Consulting who works at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Finance, and Private Equity, helping CFOs, business leaders and operating partners use AI to improve EBITDA, cash flow, forecasting accuracy, strategic decision making, and operational performance.She focuses on AI strategy, identifying and prioritizing AI opportunities, designing AI operating models, and implementing AI solutions. Her work includes developing AI use case portfolios, building machine learning forecasting and scenario models, and deploying AI and large language model solutions across finance, sales and marketing, IT, operations, Supply Chain, HR and Legal. Her experience spans organizations including Nestlé, Caterpillar, Worldpay, Bell Helicopter, Cessna, Covia, Excelitas, NCR Atleos, Accella, WISH.com, and Encyclopaedia Britannica, as well as Private Equity portfolio companies across industrials, technology, media, and business services. She has also supported Private Equity firms including Platinum Equity, Cerberus, Oaktree, One Equity Partners, and MGG on AI strategy, portfolio value creation initiatives, and AI operating model development.She has led initiatives such as enterprise AI strategy development, finance transformation programs, reporting and analytics center of excellence design, machine learning based forecasting and scenario modeling, document intelligence and automation solutions, and AI opportunity assessments used by Private Equity firms and portfolio company leadership teams to prioritize and implement AI initiatives.In addition to client work, she has contributed to research and frameworks on AI adoption and value creation in Private Equity, including the PE AI Radar, Private Equity Value Creation Index, AI maturity models, and AI operating model frameworks used by investors and operators to guide AI investment and implementation decisions.She is committed to shaping a future where intelligent, increasingly autonomous AI systems amplify human teams and become a core driver of measurable business and societal value.
