I am the co-host of a podcast called \'Rise and Glide\' launched by GPS paddling tracking app \'Paddle Logger\'. In my role I have the privilege of capturing the essence of the paddling experience through rich conversations and detailed documentation. Each episode showcases diverse paddling adventures, expert insights, and captivating narratives, enriching the listener\'s understanding and appreciation of this dynamic water sport.

ABOUT MADDI LEBLANC
Maddi Leblanc is a professional stand up paddle boarding athlete and teacher from Niagara ON, CAN. Maddi recently completed her Masters studies at Brock University ON, CAN in Outdoor Recreation and Leisure. Her passions for SUP and the environment shine through in her everyday life. Maddi currently works three part time jobs to sustain her athletic career. Maddi launched On Board in 2014 and has been running the event annually ever since, raising over for the Canadian Cancer Society specifically for brain cancer research. Since creating the fundraiser, sponsors had introduced her to the world of SUP racing which has completely turned Maddi’s life around. When Maddi is not on the water she dedicates her time to inspiring others to work hard and chase after their dreams. She does this through providing inspirational talks in her local community and beyond, as well as sitting on panel discussions about women in sport. Maddi hopes to combine her passions to create meaningful impact in her future career while motivating her peers to do the same.
