I wish to share my personal testimony today, not for sympathy or recognition, but solely for the glory of God. But I believe this is the right time to speak, in the hope that my journey may encourage even one person.Human beings are born with natural tendencies such as anger, bitterness, jealousy, and resentment. Each of us faces an internal struggle to overcome these trials.I was born into a deeply broken family. From childhood, I grew up without emotional security or affection. My life was shaped by rejection, domestic conflict, betrayal, and prolonged suffering. My mother endured great hardship, including depression and eventual abandonment. My father left our family many years ago, leaving my mother to face life alone.At one point, doctors informed me that my mother had only one week to live. By God’s mercy, she lived nine more years, eight of them in good health. During this period, I chose to leave a well-paid offshore career to care for her full-time. I attended to her daily needs, managed her medication, and prayed continually—often on my knees—asking God for strength, wisdom, and understanding.There were years when I felt no response from heaven. Yet, during that silence, God was still working.Against all medical expectations, my mother recovered both mentally and physically. Even her doctor described her recovery as extraordinary. I know with certainty that this was not a matter of human ability, but rather God’s intervention.In caring for my mother, I lost professional stability, financial security, and personal comfort. I sold personal belongings to survive and later applied honestly to hundreds of companies, refusing to falsify experience despite advice to do so. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I chose integrity over compromise.Before this transformation, I lived for more than two decades in addiction and emotional bondage. From the age of seventeen, I prayed continuously with one request: “Let me live like Jesus Christ, or let my life have no meaning.”At the age of forty-two, God answered that prayer.By God’s grace alone, I was completely freed from addictions, sinful habits, fear, and emotional suffering. God changed me; I did not change myself. He granted me deep inner peace several years before my mother passed away. She died peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2024, exactly as I had prayed.Today, at forty-six years of age, I live without fear, bitterness, or resentment. I move forward guided by faith. I do not possess wealth or property, but I am rich in peace.
