This creative nature helped me to excel through the 28 years of my Professional Career. With more than 17 years of direct & indirect procurement roles in India, China South Korea & Japan.I started my career way back in 1996 as a QC team member of Tata Precision Ind.(India ) Ltd. Which is an Export Oriented unit for machining of Precision metal Parts for various overseas customers but after seven years, I got an opportunity to work in Production department also for the next four years and again I got the opportunity to work in Supplier Development (VD) in the same the same organization & that was the turning phase of my carrier where I learnt & implemented an actual costing( ZBC) for procurement of Indirect Material. After few years again I got a responsibility for procurement of all types of Purchasing activities for Direct & Indirect Material. My roles revolved around generating RFI - RFP - RFQ & then generating Purchase Order (PO) or Letter of Intent (LOI) as and when required. I was responsible for the procurement activities of all types of material like Hot Rolled Bars & Plates of SS304L,316L,17-4 PH & SS410, SAE 4140,4340, Titanium, Hardox 400/500, O2 Free Copper & Brass) Extruded AA 6063, 6061,60••••75, 2024 Alloy Bars, Tubes, Profile sections & PDC, GDC, investment Casting & Forging Stamping parts along with all Capex & Opex items. More than two decades of experience in Tata Group gave me the edge over many peers with the good exposure of Procurement and Costing as well preparing Techno Commercial offer to the domestic a well overseas customers.
